The "Intuitive Perception" Suncatcheris made from a plywood disc. It’s hand-drawn and hand-painted by yours truly. This piece has swarovski crystals incorporated, which provide a beautiful cast of rainbows that shine mystically in the sun. This item weighs approximately 2.13 oz and the length is around 17.5 inches long and 6.5 inches wide.
Materials used are silver plated chains,acrylic paint, glitter, silverwire, andswarovski crystals. The back is painted black. Artwork has been sealed with protectant to prevent from chipping and enriching longevity.
The inspiration of this piece came from the symbolism of cats because they are very intuitive creatures. Cats have been linked to the moon for many centuries. As the moon is on its own in the sky, the cat is also noted as "alone, important and wise”. Under mystical and magical claims, the relationship between a cat and the moon is a mysterious one.
